t the start of each term At the start of each term we have an Immersion We have Immersion Assembly because, it tells us what we are learning about this term, by the teachers dressing up and doing a little act on the stage or either showing a movie. I could start to see that our topic this term was going to be about bugs but I was still puzzled about what the topic was really called.

Mr Burt who was a mosquito called out in a mosquito's voice “Give it up for Team 1” The teacher that were in team 1 were, Mrs Wild, Mrs George, Mrs Lau ,Mrs Langiupu and the teacher in room 24. They song along to some poems and danced to some songs. One of the songs they did was the Little Mrs Muffet. Mrs Wild was Little Ms Muffet and the rest of the teachers were being the spider.

My favourite team out of all the teams were team 4 because of Mr Barks, who was pretending to be a queen bee. The funny bit about Mr Barks was that he pulled out some toy babies to show what the Queens do, because the Queens lay all of the eggs. The rest of the teachers (Mrs Squires, Mrs Garden, Mrs King and Miss she was hot and also dancing to keep her entertained. Mr Squires was feeding Mr Barks, the bee honey, Jelly. Every time he was going to pull a baby he said “Wait for it” then he pulled out the baby. He pulled out 4 babies.

This term I think is going to be an interesting learning topic about little Critters. I hope that the other people enjoy the term at our school.

  1. Hey Ashleigh,

What a great immersion assembly story. It was so interesting. It was funny when Mr Barks had pulled out those babies. The two worker bees that were dancing were out of time. Keep up the Great Work!

  2. Hi Ashliegh
I liked your story about immersion assembly. It was so funny when Mr Barks pulled out four babys out of his stomach. The worker bees fed him and danced and helped him put the babys on something too. Keep up the good work Ashliegh.
